Just as your body require certain portion of food; your brain also requires some extra energy while preparing for tests, making lecture notes and writing over textbooks. What you consume also has a great impact on how well you can absorb and concentrate. While studying wrong food choices will make you feel sluggish. To be more focused you should give your brain the fuel it needs. Below are some foods that has been listed by our home tuition tutors; which will help you stay focused.

Oats meal is considered to be one of the bestfreakfast as it is high in fiber and protein in the same time low in calories and fats. Oats are a whole grain meal which your body digests slowly giving your body and brain steady energy.

Dark chocolate
Dark chocolate are rich in magnesium, fiber and iron. The theobromine and caffeine present in the dark chocolate improves the blood flow to your brain which can improve your memory and help you stay alert and focused.

As while studying, our body tends to lose zinc; you can boost the intake of zinc by pumpkin. Yes, pumpkin is good for your brain as it is rich in zinc and many others good fats which helps you to keep your body fit and can help make your brain sharp. Almonds are rich in source of protein and other healthy fats. A handful of almonds are great to increase your memory as long as you make sure that you do not want to overindulge and find yourself with some unwanted weight gain as one ounce of almonds contains fourteen grams of fat.

Walnuts are rich in source of omega 3 fatty acids which is good for your brain. Walnuts can enhance the information storing process and help promote the process of waste removal in the brain. Walnuts are also been known to have antidepressant effects.
